Survey.
So far in this class I do feel as though my writing and reading skills have improved. I never used to take notes while reading a story before and taking the reading notes every few lines or so helped me to analyze what I was reading and get a better grasp as to what the author was intending. While I do think it is helping, it is starting to get a bit repetitive for me. Doing the same assignments every week is helping me get consistent, but at the same makes the reading feel like more and more of a chore that I have to knock out every week. In all I am certain that the work I am doing is helping me improve, and that I can continue to improve throughout my academic career
Hello Jaylen, I agree with you in taking notes. I never used to take notes before either. Taking notes makes my reading so much better. So when it is time to write down our thoughts, everything is here. Many of the details I would have remembered, but some of the details I would have forget. So it was good that I wrote it down.
ReplyDeleteI agree that notes definitely help with the analysis. I like being able to refer to my notes before i choose which topic to write about and see which reading of the two i have a better grasp on. I also agree that while I'm used to the assignments, it seems to be getting boring and like you said, like a chore. Its good that the reading is almost over and that we can finally read our chosen books. Good luck knocking the rest of the reading out!
